Fire and Sky
Fire and Sky is a chap book containing poems about the sense of home. It is made from coloured mulberry paper with a handmade fibre cover. The binding is simple with a decorative spine. The book contains four poems; Autumn Rain; The Kitchen Fire; Norfolk and Bonfire.

Autumn Rain:
From the west as wolf-grey clouds massed and hunted over crags,
The water poured.
The early autumn rain swelled falling mountain streams
Then filled the gullies where streams might have been
Scouring ancient silt
Pulsing, tumbling, boiling through still stranded roots
Sends coal specked spray back to the natal clouds,
To fall again on sodden soils and soot-stained slate.
Seeping through the hidden drains to culverts, creeks and brooks
To that place where land and water once again conspire to disunite.
